I love my Gene Berg locker and I now find it strange dropping down to change gear in a stock bus , the best bit of a bus with a Berg shifter is its so close to hand, you dont have to lower your hand/arm etc . And whilst I do like the look of the Vintage speed shifter , I wouldnt fit any other shifter to a bus i was keeping than a Berg

Currently a CSP 68 onwards shifter is £ 207 quid whilst a Berg 68 onwards lhd shifter is £ 164 quid , not including shipping etc ........ Even a vintage speed shifter is £ 170

Even a berg locker is £ 328 Gbp

;)

Not too sure about how the shaft bolts on to the base. Is there any problems with it coming loose and spinning around?

I never even noticed that on mine as it came assembled but I cant see the others in question being solid, maybe welded but sooner have it bolted than that it even has a grease nipple & the boot is made from silicone not the usual rubber. Glad i've not got Saab seats my head would be hitting the bloody roof

Your arse would be happier in a Saab seat... ;)

The Berg is clearly loved, will follow up cheers.
