Volksworld contacted me yesterday and have asked if we can provide 20 Early Bays for a line up along the same lines as last year.
It will be a mixed van line up in the 'red brick' area in the show ring area (essentially the most prestigous of the 'non-show' display areas)

I immediatly said yes, of course and will be coordinating. Arrangements will be the same as last year - vans will be needed from 0800-0830 Saturday morning till 1700 Saturday afternoon and from 0800-0830 Sunday morning till approx 1600 Sunday afternoon.
Vans will be accessable to owners through the day, can be moved/taken away overnight for camping etc or can be left for the weekend and will be fully secure overnight (no public access).
Priority will be given to those that can committ to the two days initially, but hopefully we can accomodate as many as are interested. :)
Each van will be provided with up to one pair of weekend tickets for the show. Camping at the racecourse is available, but needs to be booked and arranged seperately.

Anyone whose interested, please drop me a PM with a pic/link to your van details.

The '09 show season starts here ....... 8)

Sorry guys n girls I will be on me club stand again this year. Will be over for a chat n a giggle tho 8)

sorry but i`d love to say i`ll be there with my bus.I`ll be there but i can`t guarentee my bus will...it`s up for auction two weeks before at coys....that said i doubt it`ll make the reserve so is it possible to be pencilled in?If it does not sell then you`ll have a very happy scotty dog happy to be involved

I'd be up for this, as inside the hall you can't get out for camping...

Just PM me for contact details.

I only live a short distance from the show so could leave my van there all weekend but it would definitley be in the untouched category as I haven't done anything to it in the 5 months Ive had it. I will be attending anyway so it would be nice to introduce myself and bore a few more seasoned owners with newbie questions. Heres the van just let me know

Cheers all so far, and for the Pms :)

Any camping needs to booked seperately direct via Volksworld :)

Gonna be good .... again

Hi Clem

Count me in again for this year (both days).

You can only get a camping ticket when you book an entry ticket as I did this last year not realising you had some free ones.

How does this work with getting a camping 'plot' as they call them if you are able to supply a free ticket??

Cheers, Fraggle 8)

You just state that you will be in the line up when you book a camping pass, its no problem.

Ill start to draw a definitive (starter!) list asap.

I think I might be up for this too. I have done so much work on my van in the last few weeks I am pretty sure it will be ready. It is taxed & MOT'd & can be driven now.

It may have a narrowed beam in by then, It may even have the 2007 EFI motor in. It all depends on how things come together.

It is ready to go as it is, I will just keep adding to it.

Clem have PM'd you!

Would love to be in the line-up again, had a good weekend last year!!

Bugger! Would have loved to be in on this, but it's my Mums 75th birthday on the Saturday and we are having 'a bit of a do' on the Sunday. Bit of a milestone, gotta be there.
