need to build a new engine, does anyone have a good Bus engine case - 1600

I have a 1600 twinport which needs a bottom end rebuild (thrown a big end).

Hi mate, i've got a complete ab 1300 twin port here, no end float, its the same case as a 1600 once you swap postons and barrels

Sorry thats incorrect.....

If you're looking for a PROPER BUS CASE then you will need an AS21 case with 3 extra threaded mounting hole around oil pump.....

This is a proper/correct BUS engine case

What are you on about??
AB 1300TP AS41 cases can be 'universal' and have the 3 threaded holes for the moustache bar, So don't assume anyone's being ripped off

I just took the original engine out of my bus and that was a AS41 case

are you still looking for a engine case I have got a as21 but its tucked away at the back of my garage let me know

I've got a 1584 engine here that I've just taken out of my Bus.
It needs a pair of heads as the ones on there were 043's and the guides had gone.
I took the guides out and can't find replacements.

Great little engine, always been ultra reliable.

I only took it out to do these guides and now I can't find them I've decided to fit the 1641 I've had squirrelled away under my workbench.

I'm based in WsM near Bristol.
