Hi all, I know there are a few wanted posts but thought I better list my own rather than jump on someone else's . Looking for a van that is rhd and has an MOT, just sold a project so looking for something to use now. Doesn't have to be the prettiest thing but would like it solid underneath.
If the wife likes it we will buy it
Budget around the 10k mark but could stretch if we had to.
Cheers.

I have a UK bus here for sale
It's never had any welding, rock solid bus
Full UK mot
It's a super Viking, so can sleep upto 6
Loads of service history
£7800

We're looking at advertising ours next year at some point - although the bus is perfectly usable as it is, and we have been this summer; it is missing a headlining and I'm also yet to build a second cabinet for storage / a fridge / a sink. Ideally I wanted to get these things done before advertising, but as you are after something that ours ticks the boxes, I figured I could at least post up some details and see if you're interested.

It is a RHD 1970 Devon, and we bought it back in 2013. After seeing a fair few, this one was chosen mainly for the solid condition of the chassis and floor (I'll turn my hand to most jobs, but welding is not a skill I have learnt yet!). So it was to be a rolling project that we could be confident in keeping passing MOT's. I've done a lot of work on it since purchasing, it's lowered on flipped spindles and adjustable spring plates, refurbished 356 replica wheels and whitewall tyres, rebuilt front and rear brakes and new steering parts fitted. There's lots more and I have a folder full of receipts, take a look in my build thread, albeit there are no current pics in there, but I have some on my phone:

http://forum.earlybay.com/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=59235&hilit=Name+bus" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

There is an area that could use attention on one of the gutters towards the front, it has bubbled a bit and some of those bubbles are just starting to show the rust coming through. We'd be looking at £8.5k for it.

PM if you want any further details.

Hi James, looks the kind of thing we are looking for, please could you send some current pics to [email protected] what MOT does it have at the moment?

No problem, I'll take some fresh ones this week. MOT is until June 14th, there were no advisories on the last test, and I've no reason to believe that there'd be anything untoward when next tested.

Van now purchased from Moseley ( James ) , nice van and thoroughly nice guy.

Cheers.
