As it says looking for a fusebox for a 1970 model bay (us import) part number 411 937 505 A, the nice shipping company managed to smash the fusebox on a recently imported bus and I now can't get any power

Thanks Neil, its the brighter yellow version rather than the pale yellow ones fitted to 71's and 72's, hadn't realised until today that VW changed the fusebox for 70, 71 & 72

It's possible to adapt the 71 and 72 boxes to fit a 70 loom. You need to change the links between the fuses by using the parts from your smashed box. If you look at the Bentley manual wiring diagrams you'll see what I mean. A bit fiddly but I've done it a couple of times.

Still looking

Have you tried Ron at Vw Endangered species ??

Cheers Grazy, I bought a 68 one off him recently but will check whether he has anything else,

(PS Due to Felixstowe again either Monday or Tuesday next week, are you around?)

John

Gary
