I have a Campmpbile sink unit fitted in my van. It has the metal sink with a filler on the left and a vent pipe on the right.

The tap is connected to a submersible pump which pumps water well but leaks from the spout at the join to the tap body

The spout appears to be just and interferance fit with the tap body - there is nothing else securing it and when the pump kicks in the spout leaps out of place and water soaks the entire van!

I have found this one at JK -which looks as if it might fit -

but am wondering if anyone recommend a suitable replacement tap please.

Thanks

There is a guy on eBay selling a new non Chinese replacement for £85 I think, personally it's a little to pricey for me so looking at changing mine to a more modern version like this one

Apologies - I haven't been on here for a while and have only just seen your reply!

You may have already changed your tap but if it is of any help - I ordered one of those Whale pumps that you mentioned above from a boat chandlers which worked out cheaper. It was well made and would have been good for the job but I thought that it was a little big for the westy sink set up. The tap body diameter was a fair bit larger than the original so would require the hole in the sink to be enlarged a little.

I would have no doubt made a hash of the modification so I returned it and I searched and found a NOS tap for which I think I paid about £70. Nice to keep it stock if I can. Works well with the hand pump but I have attached a small submersible pump into to the water tank and am very pleased with it.
