I'm on the look out for a bentley manual. I notice there are two. A green cover and a blue cover and the blue manual costs 80 quid!!
Whats the difference?

Cheers.

No idea of the difference. I have the green version, ISBN 0-8376-0094-4, Bentley stock No.V279, which covers all serial numbers from 238 000 001 to 239 300 000 (1968 /69) and then 230 20000 001 to 239 2300 000 ('70 through'79, Kombis and campmobiles. For 'station wagons' replace the first two digits throughout with 22, foe panel vans with 21 and pickups 26.

I have the green version
and it has wireing diagrams in colour
a great manual but will worry you silly when you read it and then realise that technically everything on your van must be worn out!

green one, and you'll spend the first six months washing your hands everytime you need to refer to it, just because it cost so much.

Green Bentley manual, I found it vet helpful although could be improved with a torque settings chart at the starts of each chapter instead of at the end of the book.
