Ex Westy,
I have a 71, want to fit a dual quit pack exhaust. Will the standard 4 into 1 header fit, or does the rear engine hanger get in the way?

A little before and after pic

I have a JK quiet pack 4 into 1 header, clears the engine mount bar without any problems.

We’ve just fitted a JK stainless 4-into-1 quiet pack to our ‘72 crossover and it did require a little modification to the engine hanger to allow it to fit with enough clearance.

I think there are two main styles of hanger – we have the style shown here, which I believe is the later style. I think the earlier ‘moustache’ style one (as previous post) clears it no problem. I’m not sure which year it changed though, but it’s probably a crossover thing 🤪

I have a 71 also. I used a hayabusa motorcycle muffler. Don't know what they cost in UK.
