Just wondering if anyone is doing anything VW related this weekend?

Here's my weekend plan -

Non-VW;
  • 1. Build stud wall in main bedroom, to give us an extra room
    2. Knock down built in cupboards to give us extra space
    3. Build shelf for small shed
    4. Tidy out big shed ready to convert to workshop

VW work;
  • 1. Fit new fuel pump and swap bumpers on the Ghia
    2. Fit new carpet, parcel shelf and exhaust mount to the Golf
    3. Go and look at another potential new ride!
    4. Start measuring up interior on bay, also check the chassis and windscreen panel to see what work is needed.

I'm gonna be a busy boy me thinks! :)

Going for a game of golf in the morning with my old man. I have a weekend off. Yyyyyeeeeeeeeesssssssssssssssss!!!! :lol:

Then wheel bearing on my mk2 polo tomorrow and exhaust repairs.

And then on to the the bus, with it's recent MOT failure.

Oh yes, nearly forgot! Saturday night will be doing some serious cider swigging :D :D :D

Non-VW

Marking up plug points etc for the electrician in our resto cottage :roll:

VW

Remove the wings from my beetle
Tinker with aforementioned beetle
Himself will tinker with the single cab pick up
All in all, we expect a lot of tinkering :lol:

Some guys from NDC and me are cruising to the 50-67 meet in Truro tomorrow. 50-67 are great they specialise in Splits and Early Bays, especially Westys. If you phone 'em about Bay stuff, they will bring your sexuality into question, but they are only joking. I'll post up some pics tomorrow.

I brought my Squareback back into use this weekend, now the bus is in for winter fettling.
Its been inside since May. It pissed down all night, and leaked inside. Then it ran out of fuel this morning.

Other than that, its great to have it back in use. :roll:
