I'm finding that a piece of duct tape does the trick but shouldn't there be a spring or something?

She's '71 Panel Van.

Cheers. I figured it would be something like that.

Does it clip on at the back and if so, does anybody know where I can get one?

If it doesn't clip at the back then I guess mine is broken and I'll have to figure out and alternative.

I believe the only source at hand is scrap yards, FBI volks heaven etc.....

Or you go to your hardware store and fit a short strong helical spring for a couple of quid tops...

Slap a bid on this.

Cheers, I've emailed the seller. The auction says it's for RHD (mine's LHD) but I wouldn't have thought it made any difference to this item?

I believe it is mounted on the bracket off centre but you are mainly wanting the spring so you just need to confirm that its present with the flap...
