I want a beer.

Cider all the way for me - especially the home-brewed stuff I made last autumn - strong stuff though, hic!

;)

we drunk 3 barrels of Thatchers (132 pints) and 3 cases of strongbow at vanfest, not a drop was spilled and everyone had a bacon and egg roll by 10am.............vanfest...........done!

Jesus that is a lot of apple juice. I drank about 8 bottles of San Miguel the entire weekend and still had to go for a lie down on Friday night.

why the harsh replies and *roll eyes* icons to anyone who starts posting without introducing themselves?

i've been lurking for a lot longer than i've been a registered user

Hi Rob!

Have to say I have no idea what you are talking about! I've never seen any new member treated anything other than with great respect and a truly warm welcome.

Maybe you could link to the threads you mean?

Sorry!

Got in from work, found a mega post and posted before I'd read most of it!

No ice cream for me ta, but I am looking forward to a vegetarian Indian over in Welling later this evening. As it happens the place is so quiet that it'd be a good place to park up and meet over some nice grub for anyone in SE London / NW Kent!

By the way... I did find Rob's first post with all that stuff for sale and am probably best off not saying any more.

OK - thread hijack...

Local vegetarian Indian to me is in Welling (not the place they should be setting up I'd suggest?) - it's excellent, very friendly and sadly not very busy.

The other place is in Brighton, up by TK Max and is an eat all you like buffet. It's not as good but I am normally so busy filling my face I don't notice. I'll be heading there after we leave the seafront on the 29th! Eating competition anyone?

If anyone knows of any others I need to know where they are...

Do we have a large collective of veggies on here?

Just thought i'd ask seeing as i'm in that camp too.

I'll have a fruit-pastille lolly please.

I'm a meat-eater, but sometimes I'll order the veggie option if I'm not sure about the quality of the meat option!

;)

If icecreams are still on offer I'll have a screwball scramble please, better make that four some for the wife and kids too please. 8)

at last i can post on here

make mine a lamb popsicle

and lets just chill a bit, mkay?!

ps welcome fellow donny fella :D

I know it's not to do with ice creams, curries etc but I got talking to a young guy at vanfest who was looking around the special display and was very interested in the interior in my bus. It transpires that he's just bought a 79 bay and seperately bought a 68 Devon interior to put inside it and on seeing the Early Bay special display he got a pang of guilt that he would have to take the saw to this to get it to fit in his bus.
He wondered if anyone on the forum would have better use for it and I suggested he sign up and offer it for sale. Now he's not an Early fan in particular but surely a 68 Devon interior would be of interest (and very appropriate) in this context.
It's probably the best place to sell this.
Hopefully he'll introduce himself first ( he was very friendly and polite).
