This one just came across my desk and I just had to share. Very well trimmed out 71 with loads of accessories and stylish mods. Very solid California bus. Asking $20,500 for it (which is about £12000 with today's exchange) Shipping, tax, etcetera still to do, but a very solid deal for someone in the end!

How much are talking with all the taxes and shipping charges then dude ?

I'm not certain of all the fees and taxes due, but shipping is about $1600 and they usually tack on some port fees of another few hundred on arrival... So figure just shy of £1200 for shipping and destination fees. Vat would be on the purchase price that is on the bill of sale. Not certain how that all works.

Can anyone who has done an import chime in with their experience !

Landing fees in this country via someone like KIngstown Shipping are approx £550 plus Duty payable at 5% using BTI scheme which Kingstown can also sort for you.Then you need to factor in getting it collected from the port, its illegal to drive it.

You could collect it your self from the port for about £70 plus fuel by renting a small flat bed.
