Windscreen wiper switch bypass Early Bay 1968?

Ground the motor case and connect 12V to the 3 blacks in turn.

Motor appears to work fine after I removed it from the vehicle. (both speeds work fine). Motor also works fine when attached to spindles etc.

When I put the motor back into the vehicle and connect up to switch it still works fine. (switch is not fastening to dash at this point)

However, when i put the switch back into the dash as soon as I turn the wiper on it blow the wiper fuse?

Any ideas?

Sounds like you have a wire on the wrong place so a feed is grounding out.

Yes
Make sure the switch is orientated so that the connections are facing up, otherwise they can ground onto the dash

Thanks gents. I had 31 and 31b on the wrong terminals on the switch. All working as expected now.
