wiper motor styles

Im trying to replace the wiper motor on my 72 US import bay.
im trying to replace this

with this

but the brackets are completely different, has anyone done this, made a new bracket etc, or do i need to source a new motor like the original?

when i first got my bay had the same problem .
fitted it without bolting it down works fine as it's fixed via the spindle stems hope this helps

thanks geezer, good thing too as i dropped the mounting screw down the heater tube!
