Last repair to the floor done.

Made a repair to the conduit that carries the loom from back to front. one end had rotted away so used some plastic conduit. Martin Sim if your reading this, great suggestion it worked a treat and only cost a couple of pound

Bought a Rivnut tool. Superb for securing captive nut's into sheet metal

Cleaned the floor and masked up for paint

Time for some paint but first my helper wanted to get in on the photo - Seriously she probably knows more about painting than i do! the blind leading the blind

Just noticed if you look at the floor you can see the instruction book for the spray gun :msn4:

More progress

Compressor didn't have a regulator but mate came to the rescue. Glad i had a go at spraying the floor, first time i have done this and learnt a lot, good place to learn on the floor as lets face its not seen very often.

keep it under cover most of the time but bit of rain and looks like i have some pop top work to do.

Been having a bit of a push to get the bus on the road

No shortage of willing helpers

Just when i was making progress i spotted this

Time to get welding

Took the beam out by myself - Blimey their heavy :shock:

Cleaned it up, made a couple of repairs, fitted new track rods and steering damper. sprayed the underneath of the van and put it back in - with help

By the time it was in we couldn't see a thing

Sorted the brakes

Then in for the MOT

Sorted the tax

Then off we go

What a result i'm just so pleased to get it on the road.

Thanks Guys getting the mot done feels like a massive milestone reached! Just got out camping straight away - Who needs an interior anyway :lol:

Woz is my brother and I just wanted to say I am so proud and immensely impressed at his dedication and determination in getting this project done in what has been a difficult and busy time for him and his family. Considering his limited knowledge and what he has learnt and achieved he deserves an award. Well done mate.

Had loads of jobs planned for the weekend but instead i just drove around - and then when i got home i just went out for another drive! 8)

Did manage to fix the fuel gauge though - Should stop some of the stress
