Y Chassis legs differences?

Hi, I am considering buying a pair of 2nd hand South African import y chassis rails for the front of my 71 RHD. The ones being sold are for 73 onwards specification and the guy said they would need modifying as the accelerator mounting and clutch pedal mounting are different.

Does anyone know the difference between the 71 and 73 van and whether this is a straight forward modification or not?

The accelerator linkage is easy to swap, just save the mount on the chassis legs and swap it over. Not sure about the clutch. The main issue is the steering box. You'll have to swap to a late box or change the mounts because the bolt spacing is different. You'll also have to make a reinforcing plate to go between the end of the chassis legs and the inner valance but that's an easy fix.
