My engine lid for 71/2 crossover is somehow being held together just by the locking machanism as hinges have rusted and so has the metal where hinges go into whatever that bit is called? Need top strip bit of metal above engine lid thing if there is such a thing? Xx

Just before I got home from work I found that pressing the brake pedal became harder if that makes sense? the usual softish braking motion of last 19 years (!!) became solid... Hard.. the van would still brake but i have to press harder and braking takes longer to work! The bus is a crossover...
