Looking very nice Karlos. What's next?

Thanks, well chuffed with it :D Next things on the to-do list are a 4 inch king & link pin beam with dropped spindles and a 2110 motor 8)

nice van. :) Glad you got your engine sorted.

Is that a beetle oil bath airfilter? What happened to the old bus one you had on the first engine?

Yeah that is a bug filter. I cut the bus oil bath filter stand out when I had my engine with twin 36's, so when I went back stock I couldn't run my old filter  I ran a crappy pancake jobbie for 1 month and got fed up with the crap running and carb icing

Although my 1600 is a good'un I've always had an urge for a fast bus, Ollie (Slammed) put me onto his mate Hector who built him a nice 1776, I wanted similar sort of thing..... Went to see him, had a chat and a cuppa then left with a shopping list for an all out 2110   It's gonna consist of 90.5 x 82, 5.4 H-beam Chevy journal rods, Engle FK8 cam, straight cut cam gears, DRD cnc ported heads with 40x35.5 valves, Itailian Weber 44 IDF's, merged header with mondo muffler and many other goodies

Just waiting for my over riders to arrive then our buses will look even more similar.

Big bear, your bus is a beauty too. Over riders are the icing on the cake with a US bus imo 8)

Nice work your bus is looking awesome. The pearl white paint looks great, inspiring me to do mine.

looking good, how low are you going to go

Pete

Not gonna go mega low as I have to allow for a deep sump, oil cooler and mondo exhaust which will be on my new engine. Want the down another 2-3 inches all round. Main reason for a link pin beam is the ride, ball joint beams are shocking :?

Hi karlos
Your bus is looking a lot different to when I picked up the twin 36s a while ago. Nice work mate.
