As you know I’ve just done this, have you used spacers?

I had wheel spacers on when I had gasburners on the van but my new fondmetal rims don’t need them

Are those the csp 5x130 drums used here too?

Yes, had them on the van for years but never got round do milling the snouts till today

24mm, you’ll need 71> onward stub axles too

So as I’m treating my motor to new heads I thought I’d splash out on some new valve train as well!





Nice shiny set of Scat 1.45:1 ratio rockers, same as what i had before but they were used from my mate Chris who’d brought them 2nd hand from Pete @ cogbox so probs 20-25yrs old and seen a lot of rpm over the years

I shift at 6800 and the rev limiter is set at 7200.

Hector winds the 2276 in his beetle race car up to 8200 in each gear
