hi guys just helping my mate clean out his old mans yard and found a 2ltr complete aircooled engine with tin wear, gearbox and drive shafts and hubs they have been sat for years under an holey old tarp. it turns over, do you think they are worth selling on for some one to refurb or just scrapping them my mate say his dad removed when he was a kid to do some resto work but then scrapped the van but saved the engine and box because the were brill. thanks for your thoughts phil

YES it is worth selling on Type 4 stuff is expensive and rare!

Or keeping it for your bus? Culd be a nice little project stripping it down and rebuilding it!

The 2ltr g/box's are getting quite scarce, so inevitably has pushed the price up. Keep it if you are planning on throwing a bus together... Ben

Only upwards of £600

No not worth anything. I'll pick it up and take it to the dump for you if you like.
