new lower front valance arrived today 8)
happy days, hopefully crack on with more welding the weekend...this chassis notching is sounding really ....

Love the orginal lucas light beam converters, where did you get them from? I'd love apair of these

ah yes the lucas covers my dad gave them me he had them in the orginal packaging and knows i like my retro accesories so it was just a bit of luck :lol:

right well today i carried on with the rear corner and arch ...

got it all welded and ground back

turned my attention to the scuttle ...

still needs a final skim and sand but very happy :mrgreen:

then it went dark so i decided to bring something in the house to keep me busy ...

thought i wanted something "orginal" on it somewhere ....

after sanding 7 yes 7 coats of paint of ....

then a bit of polish and elbow grease ...

happy days
thats how the cap will stay, just the other side of it to do now, the orginal are stickers are there but painted over so thats my next mission :lol:

Just read this thread from start to finish, awesome work there fella. Good to see another Dormobile being brought back to life. It'll be worth all the effort the first time you take it out .
