Any idea where I can get American indicator bulbs in orange
The fittings are different to Uk ones

just found the bulbs i want 26 pence each from america plus 22 pounds postage and packaging
i will keep looking

Had this problem too. the pins are offset on them, so normal amber bulbs wouldn't fit, so i got clear bulbs from my local car parts place, and some amber bulb paint. job done.

if you get some put a good few coats on as they will fail it if it doesn't flash amber enough! :roll:

I've had this same problem too, first tries to get the propper amber bulb with offset pins but no good. So I bought some amber glass paint of ebay for a few quid gave the whole glass part of the bulb 1 coat and a year later still flashing amber. Job done.

They are different because US buses have double filament bulbs in the indicators because of the running lights. I did as suggest and painted normal bulbs :mrgreen:

Let me know how many you guys want and I will ship them to you if you want to pay for the bulbs and shipping. Orange or clear? I think they are roughly $3-$4 at the parts store for two. Heck thats the least I can do for a fellow earlybayer

Hi Squareweave i could do with a pair of these.
I painted some clear ones with orange nail varnish
I now have pinky orange flashing indicators :?
Let me know what cost would be.
