I'd be interested to hear your thoughts on the two units once you have used them both for a while. Like I said before if you have an Android phone you might want to give my app a try. It's still in development but should make the unit easier to manage!

I talked to a nice guy at DubFreeze and he runs http://www.campertracker.co.uk

Track, Move, Geo Fence, and Speed your own vehicle all with texts or Android and Apple apps.
No monthly fee unless you want a monitoring service.

25% discount with code CTJ12 which makes total £149, same as at show.

Will most likely go this route at some point.

The campertracker is one of the Chinese tk103b variants. If you want to pay extra for the UK support then great but you probably won't need it and its much cheaper off ebay! There are also cheaper UK suppliers such as cgmart.

Just checked this on ebay, they look quite different and are a bigger unit than what I saw from campertracker...
But might be the same.

Cheers.

Maybe I'm wrong then! The command set certainly seems to fit. It might be one of the newer models if it's smaller, have you got a picture of one?

From the description on their website it doesn't mention things like the door or accessory alarms so possibly a TK104?

I got one of these off ebay (taobotown) fitted it and worked fine for a month then threw a wobbly. Got in touch with the guy, returned it and heard nothing since. Guess someone had to have the dud.

as they say 'if I fell in a bucket of tits, i'd come out sucking my thumb'

This is closer, but still quite a bit thicker and longer

This one looks the closest so far.

Never knew there were so many of these.

Anybody got experience with the above or other chinese ones?
