Anyone been on a plane lately?

As most of you know im off on holiday next week and just wondered if anyone know what the deal with hand luggage is now?
Im flying out to the states and dont really want to leave the camcorder and that in the main luggage?

any suggestions gratefully recieved!

Went to New York a while back and just had the normal handluggage with me camera and stuff in. No real worries. I just kept it to a minimum as it reduces the searching they could do. :shock:

Liquids is the other one, just put em all in your main luggage, and buy water etc in the passenger lounge after check in and customs. This is mainly EU, but they are not to bothered as when I cam back from Gran Canaria the other week, i didnt do any of it and I was fine. 8)

cheers dude, last time i came back from the states the buggers went thru my luggage and damaged a lot of stuff in my main luggage.
Didnt realise till i got home :roll:

I keep everything to a minimum, especially going to New York! they have NO sense of humour and dont even look in your eye when they speak to you! rude as can be, so give em no excuses. :wink:

Yeah best thing is too key every minimum. Try and take evrything in one hand luggage bag between you if you can and put what you can in cases.

There quite handy at throwing things around in their airports! :shock:

Agree with above - came back from Germany a couple of days ago and
definately keep hand luggage to a min.
(still don't know why you have to put your liquids and containers in a see thro' bag tho???)

dont put a lock on your case as they will cut it off in NY usually damaging the bag in the process. Then they put a note inside saying the damage is your own fault as you locked it.

they are so paranoid now and its affecting everyone. :x

It definately seems to be liquids that they're the most uptight on. I took my camera and phone in my hand luggage no probs.

I'm not sure where you stand on plastic sheep though dude, best to keep that in your proper case. :lol:
