i must confess to hankering after an eriba puck to tow behind my tintop deluxe

some extra space would be great, and they look pretty cool to my eyes anyway

but wondering just how practical they are for towing behind a bus

i have a strong 1641 engine, but don't want to end up regretting the purchase and never using it cos it's not practical

so has anyone got one? how do you find it on the road and on the campsite?

I HAVE ONE 8) and I love it!

I bought one earlier this year and it has been great, especially when the weather is a bit damp!!!!!!!

It tows well behind my Westy but I have to admit to wanting a bit more power but I still have the og 1600 sp. I generally only use it locally 50mile radius or so but on the Motorway it would tow forever.

I will be designing an awning to fit between the two when the weather sorts itself out.

Hi Just

Now you are a family of 5 I thought you would have needed one. Brave Man!!!

What I like about the puck is:

1. I can move it about on my own.
2. It fits in my small garage.
3. It is the same width and height as the van, so no additional mirrors, no worries about height restrictions
4. I can see straight through the back windows.
5. It only weighs 500kg
6. the wife loves it!

man that looks mint as it matches your van colour

I'm definately a style over substance sort, so the way the puck/eriba lines match those of the van are just what I'm after. might even paint it montana red below the roof to match the van ;)

i also have already designed an awning to fit twixt van and caravan - in my mind

will check the links and report back

oh, lack of space isn't too much of a concern, i have a full camping interior in the tintop, so we're used to being a bit cramped - it's ok with 2 but when we get round to having a family it just wont work...

Yep, did the tow hitch myself (Well bought a westy one off Issit (Dave) on here) and had to make up the electrics myself. Pretty easy really. It will only be me and the westy at Vanfest though but if you come over this side of the bridge you are always welcome to pop in and have a cup a tea.

Ill take you up on that Jon...........

Got some pics of the interior?

Sorry to Hijack Baron

Just, All but the fridge, that was an optional extra. I will put one in at some point.

Rikki, I would have been surprised if your van struggled  I'm pulling mine with my westy and a 1600sp

Keep the pics coming.

That looks great I have to say this post is making me want one as well but I think with the westy and the panel my wife would kill me, but if the westy went then thats another story all together
