Automatic Indicator switch off

I was just wondering if any ones indicator automatically switches off, mine never has due to the indicator housing not being secure, I have tried to get it to stay in the right place, but it keeps moving.

are the after-market replacement housings any good?

The indicator cancelling is performed by a ring that's fixed to the underside of the steering wheel, aptly named the indicator cancelling ring!

I filed the housing face to make the housing fit tighter.....
