Has anyone got any experience fitting a Weber 32/36 progressive.I'm not too sure I'm getting the right vacuum for my standard vac dizzy and was wondering would a 009 centrifugal be better for me? Also my current dizzy has a very worn shaft which wobbles a lot and could be giving me most of my problems.

So I need a new dizzy but should I plug the vacuum take off on the carb and fit a 009 or is the weber carb ok to use a standard vac dizzy?

have the same carb on a 1800 motor, and works fine after its warmed up. You should have the vac offtake on the primary choke. 009 will compromise low speed and end up needing to run richer to avoid hesitation, but is seen as a performance dizzy. So depends how you want to use the van. Personally I would keep the vacuum option for a street machine.

vacum every time dude, will run much better imo

Cheers,I'll try and use a vacuum dizzy first.I'll check what vacuum it needs for max advance and then check the carb output has the right output and go from there. My concern is that max advance will start too early or too late or not enough with this carb.I think max advance should happen at just over 3000 RPM,thats what I'll aim for.
