Hi all,

Anyone else tried to fit a metal GB sign to their rear bumper?

I reckon a piece like the fog lamp mounts Doris makes but straight up instead of folded over would do it but does anyone actually sell them?

Cheers

JB

Hello mate what you need is a number plate bracket( the type that would hold the metal number plate under the front bumper) then you get a good strong glue and glue the GB plate to it and then just clamp bracket to rear bumper! All the shops sell them JK ,heritage c&c

thanks dude, I've searched around for these though and can't find them - do you have a link?

I bought a strip of aluminium from B&Q, cut it twist it bend it drill it and mount it to the hole on the top of the bumper iron...

good plan - I had something like this made by a local blacksmith but he went a bit overboard and used some really heavy weight metal - leading to problems with it swivelling into the bodywork over time.

I'll have a go with the ally option as you suggest - thanks for that :)

Nice GB sign BTW!

have now got the link for you ......... looks like you may have to buy 2 thou????
