Bus Generator for iPod/iPhone/iPad

Hi guys, I thought I'd give you a heads up about an App I've been doing the artwork for as I know you're into your buses

As a few of you may be aware, me and a friend recently released Beetle Generator as an Application for Apple products. It can be found here:

Basically, you customise a few bits on a beetle at the moment - colour, ride height, and wheels. This will soon be updated with lots more changes possible.

BUT, the one you guys will be interested in is coming soon... We're currently working on Bus Generator - Which will be immediately more customisable than Beetle Generator currently is. Current plans are to have the first release include the ability to build any tin top bus from 1955-1979, so you early bay guys will be well catered for.

You'll be able to build anything from panels to 23 windows, stock height to slammed, stock wheels to 17" replica Fuchs.

I'm a bit of a bus buffer, so I've tried to make it as accurate as possible, and I hope you guys will appreciate it and enjoy it!

Here are some examples of buses I've built on my .psd of the future Bus Generator to show some of the options that will be available:

I don't think signwriting will be an option in the first release, but that should hopefully be incorporated into future releases. Barndoors and commericals should be on their way in future releases too!

Looking good - what output options do you have for this? Signature size output to then use forums with any custom text? Will keep a lookout for this - are you planning an andriod version?

Hi, I think that'll be more down to the individual - You'll be able to save the image through a print screen on iPod Touch/iPhone I think, which you could then import onto computer and play around with to make it your sig I imagine.

Unfortunately it will only be for Apple stuff at the moment. I only do artwork, and my friend who does the coding only does Apple stuff - I may have to give Android stuff a go, or find someone who is experienced in it to have a go.

No worries - have an ipad so can save it off from there and then play around with it - are you having westy options from the off or is this coming down the line?

Ahh cool Westy options will be coming down the line, as well as other pop tops. Initial release will be tin tops only I think, at this stage.

Haha, no we couldn't have had that! I'm quite the fan of early bays with their deep front wheel arches and half moon vents (and more specifically wide 5 stud ones).
