I'm just wondering, as curiosity has gotten the better of me...But I'm going on a little expedition to Africa and I'll be going through the Democratic Republic of Congo. I have a friend who's already gone through there and in every picture she sent of the towns and cities, there are VW's everywhere.
The purpose of my trip isn't to buy a bus, but if I saw one in decent nick (and cheap enough) would it be worth buying and sending back?
I wasn't thinking about selling to make money but either for my brother or as a project I could work on whilst I learn how to weld - so something I can't bollocks up on too much :lol:
Any ideas?
