This is the first time I have been to a show and managed to get all the way home without coming back on
a recovery truck :D

Had a great weekend, would like to say thanks to Gadget & Graham L for the technical weekend, it was very useful thank you and also
for your advice etc for my van........hope to meet up again soon.

Hey Matt good to meet you on Saturday, glad you got home ok, i for one did not and had to call a tow truck

Pete

Matt & Lisa

Glad you got home under your own steam with no problems and I'm glad you found Saturday useful.

Look forward to seeing you both at another show later in the year, a good time was had by all especially camping at Stanford Hall with fellow eb'ers again

Not sure ant, just started running like crap about 5 miles from home, like the timing had gone, after saturday i knew to check ht leads, plugs, points all fine, dizzy had not come loose, i think it it is something to do with the carb, Recovery bloke turned up and claimed it was the head gasket !! thanks for that,

Will have a look at it later in the week when i get some time off, dont think it is anything serious

So did you buy electronic ignition then? :)
Good to meet you both Saturday and hope you sort out whatyou want to do with your Danbury
David

I couldn't find one anywhere, so have ordered one of the net :D

I think I have made my mind up with the van, I think I will just have this one done over the winter as I will then know
that what has been done. I did see a lovely westy tintop for sale at Stanford Hall which I would have bought but the
guy had taken a deposit.........it was obviously not meant to be; And as my van actually got us home, it must be sign
that things are now starting to get sorted! :D

Good to meet up with everyone & I hope you get your van sorted Pete :)

Had a great day yesterday, was on the stand opposite the EB one with the newbeetle.
Was good to put a few faces to peoples names, and i managed to get my sill that i havnt been able to get from a few suppliers over the net, thanks to Graham and i think it was Gadget boy for confirming that it was the correct one, it was a real pain in the rear trying to squeeze it into the car so wanted to make sure first, will hope to catch up with a few more people in the van at shows closer to home.

Dont know if it was sooo bad over on your side, it was like living in a dust storm gave up trying to keep clean over on the other side of the road.

Matt & Lisa, glad you got home ok, perhaps the tide is turning?!!!
Was great to meet up with established friends and to make new ones too, Aaron and myself had a great time, look forward to the next one!

Great turnout guys and a cool looking display!

Out of [professional- ha!l] curiosity - who owns the super clean looking white EB on the Porsche Teledials?

Was parked at the back under the tree next to slammedresto's EB.

That would be StuartRX7's, if it was parked sideways facing towards Gary's Bus

my pass never turned up in the post, so couldn't join you guys on the club display

i did stop by to a squizz though, and was glad i hadn't joined you....

... some eeedyut had parked this big rusty thing in front of all the nice shiny buses

;)
