Also Easy you got a notch to my two favourite vw's, a bay and a notch

one day i'll have a notch on the drive but for now i'll have to settle for the model ontop of my tv stand.

Dave

Is the notch for the misses then

yer right

she needs a tank or something that way when she wraps it around a lampost it wont matter!

The box in the notch is a 1600 box so is pretty much correctly geared for a 1776 anyway (its never going down the strip) so dont have to worry to much.

The guy who is doing mine is the old doood who builds all cool airs stuff and by all Ive seen does quality work. (will let you know when I get it back  ) Standard full refurb with replacing all bits is £495, this includes a dip and repaint of the case aswell 8)

ddffrost - Notchs rule, this is mine

I had a squareback a few years ago, and used it for work until a site fork truck driver wrote it off!

thats a boo doood  i use mine as my daily (when its on the road  ) love it to bits and the best drive out of any VW i have ever driven, mind you its gonna be even better when I put in the new gearbox, engine and beam

great looking notch, i cant even get out of my drive there are speedbumps every which way, i live close to a school

I like your attitude Easy dude i hate speed bumps i can just get over em in my bay current height but i've decided to slam it now just got to save the pennies

What do your recons the best way to go seriously lower? dropped spindles?

I want a better ride to been reading a few threads and there seems to be lots of different beams and spindles and shock set up out there very confusing

Gotta go dropped spindles dude they lower it an keep a bit of give to keep good ish ride at the back you will want adjustable spring plates to even it out , 8) A 2" narrowed beam would look trick on yours too dave

would i be able to keep my stock wheels and decent tyre size?

anyone recomend the best spindles and narrowed beams?

I dont think you can keep og wheels if you slam it mate i my be wrong , Are you gonna do the work yourself ???
If not Tim @ Roadhouse retro is up near you , Or Mr Gadget Boy may undertake work for you

no i wouldnt know where to start doing it myself dude

i need a word with tim anyway he's got some of my pennies for a 1303 box conversion i order a whilke back and forgot about!
