In recognition of all the hard work Johnny has put in why don't we contribute something to a charity of his choice?

It is Xmas after all and even £1 each could mount up to a reasonable amount

Over to you Johnny...

Ok, sounds ok to me, also is there a fund anywhere as to contribute to any costs involved in running this forum?

Ozziedog ',,,,,,,,, never thought about it before really

I assumed that the costs would be covered by the advertising so that's why I suggested a charity.

I'd have no problem in contributing to the costs if he's having to pay out of his own pocket

Advertising pays the bills. The banners/flags funding requirement is there if anyone is so inclined. :)

this^^

i've also created an easier way to set up an advertising banner on the site. The link is on the splash page here http://www.earlybay.com

to be transparent; the idea is just to cover costs of the server/hosting etc(so advertising isnt too intrusive). Any extra money is put into upgrading the server, more memory/diskspace/more CPUs etc.

this new server is a significant upgrade and its noticeable how much faster it is.

we can also offer hosting services for anyone who has a website. webspace, domain name registration etc
