Clutch return spring how do I fit a new one?

Hi my clutch return spring is broken I have a new one what is the best way to fit it please? Any advise please

This the one that fits on the outside clutch arm ?
If so then you can wind it over the arm without having to take it off. Use a screwdriver to separate the coils as you thread it on.
