I've seen a web site that tells me all about codes but cant remember.

I need to know some detailed info on my 71 Dormobile

12 243 890
474751A41 141 191 793
25 3 7487 EN2340 11

cheers for that.

So does
25 3
Means 25th week, Wednesday

So if the production year was Aug - July my EB is a January 71.

Is this correct?

The reason for knowing the year is because I need a new rear reg light and they change from small to large in July 71.

Check out JK rear lights.

no the week starts from jan....

it is a 71 which ends in july though.... so your fine there week 25 puts it may ish....

So heres another on then.

Model year is 1971/72

So does that put it at wk 29 on a Fri

Which is 18th Feb 72.

The rest was basic and boring 0606 pastel white top and bottom with 51 dark beige letherette interior (nice)
and only A41 options miles speedo.

EN England

2140 11 RHD Del Van with sliding door LHS and 37 bhp engine with a manual gearbox.

No week 29 is gonna be july as Jon has calculated that week 25 was the penultimate week of June add 4 weeks to that... it will be friday and assuming its a 71 and not a XO 72 as all you've provided is 1971/72....

remember the model is based aug to jul and the week is jan to dec

Mine is a 72 xover

Now im confused as hell! Just when i thought i was getting to grips with it. :?

Nothing confusing you have a 72 very late early (XO)....indeed one of the last out the factory before the high front lights came rolling out.

on your M plate the first two digits will be 22 then I assume

Yea 22 was the first 2 digits
and must be very late early bay as i am not a low lighter  , but early bumpers with high indicators

so does that make me a late early or a early late bay :p

Cheers low lighter.

No S in front I'm afraid.

I would love to know more about it as it was shipped from OZ into the UK in 2003. See http://forum.earlybay.com/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=6954&p=66992&hilit=aggie#p66992" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

My date code is week 29 day 5 that puts me on 21st July 1972. Taking into account that madel year runs from Aug does that mean i could have one of the last earlys out of the factory, does anybody have a later on on here.

22 2 denotes second day (Tuesday) of week 22 of 1969, possibly Tuesday 27th May 1969...?

This is often a confusing point, someone with a 'bible' will clear this up!!

Awesome :D wonder what the 697 means ? maybe that was for the extra large cooling scoops that were fitted origionaly unless they were an after market thing.(wish I had them)
Perhaps it could be a delux then, it has overiders and quaterlight side windows under dash tray but no chrome trim ?
The previous owner did seem to suggest that it was fitted with a glass roof ? but the codes say pop up, I don`t think the roof I have fitted is the standard one though its not a westy is it ? :?
