Dash Wiring.

I know before I go any further I should of taken photos or drawn a wee diagram before I removed the wires from the rear of the dash pod(69 Lhd Bay).
I was replacing the fuel gauge and connected it back up wrongly and got a few melted wires,I am armed with a wiring diagram and should be able to work it out but my confidence has taken a wee knock and I was wondering if anyone had any photos(or hand drawn diagrams) of theirs they could maybe post them up to give me a starter for ten.

had the same problem the other week. i put an earth to a live and burnt a lot of wires out.sounds like you may have put an earth to a live. i used the haynes manual along with the colured diagram and managed to work it out. i would take a pic for you but bus is at the garage at the moment.

If you have a spare few moments have a look in all the pics in my signature. I am 98% sure I took photos of my dash when I was taking it all apart. There maybe something of help to you there. I cannot however confirm that it is right :lol:
