I am currently considering up grading my cooling set up to a doghouse (currently is an in-line set up). I have a 1500 single port case which at some stage was upgraded to a 1600 dual port .... I read that this makes the in line set up borderline for cooling if much motorway cruising is done.
My question relates to seals and spacer washers. I assume I need the adapter seals to go from the 8mm to 10mm (case to oil-cooler adapter) ... but do I also need spacer washers to stop the seals being crushed - similar to when fitting the later in line oil cooler?
Hope someone has done this upgrade and can help.
