You can transfer it all but the lock mechanism won't fit correctly and the latch on the door handle will catch on the door. I was sent a rust free '68 door in error and ended up having to butcher it slightly.
I think off the top of my head, I had to make the door handle hole bigger using a dremmel to incorporate the part of the handle that goes into the door to touch the strike plate of the door mechanism. I also had to use a hammer and chisel to make a small bulge in the shell of the door to get the mechanism to line up properly (if you look at the other type of early door, there is a small bulge inline with the lock catch. I think I also had to drill another hole for the internal door catch to fit as on the 68 the mounting holes are diagonal.
If it's a decent door, it might be worth a bit more than a normal door to someone needing a 68 door. I would've liked to have sold mine and got a new one, but didn't have time before going on holiday to do it and had to modify it slightly.
