Early interior wood colours

Can anyone confirm if this is correct.
I have a 69 LHD USA import Westy with the light coloured wood interior. Are the LHD buses that went to Europe a different shade, ie stightly darker ?.
I know the later one post 72 are a dark brown.
I am new to Bay's and need a little help until my knowledge grows a bit !

Do you mean the laminate on the furniture or the headliner and side panels? Remove, say the buddy seat, and look at the colour of the plywood that has not been exposed, it should be virtually white as it was birch when it started life. The laminate was a mid brown or at least our 68 was.
