Hi all - I have a set of bay rear hubs i'm using to IRS the back of my split. I believe there are size differences between the early and late ones - can anyone help me with identifying these?

Got the part number written on a scrap of paper somewhere too so will dig that out...

Many thanks
Mack

The early earlies ie >july70 had a combined hub/drum with a wide PCD (same as your split) the later bays had a drum seperate to the hub with a small pcd

hope that helps

By hub do you mean the bearing carrier? If so the the early and late carriers will interchange with 2 differences. The outer bearing on the early is retained by a circlip and is an interference fit on the late carrier. The outer bearings are different sizes but the stub axle remains the same through all years as do the grease seals. The only other difference is the way the brake cylinder is mounted but is a simple mod.
