Well to try and salvage something from the Easter weekend a few of us got together in North Norfolk (the weather forecast was good for the area) and met up on Saturday lunchtime and headed back today.
I think a good weekend was had by all with a 'wade' to the beach at Stiffkey on the Saturday afternoon, (my family didn't take any wellies   ) and then the usual drinking but it was cold. Sunday a trip to the nearby Wells by the Sea and a game of football on the beech, mini trainride into town and then a good meal afterwards at the Red Lion in Stiffkey, following by more drinking back at the site and an open fire with the who could 'collect the most wood' game
We went in Arnie (6 of us) with the westy trailer on the back and apart from a little hesitant starting when hot ran like a dream considering he was 6 up and towing a trailer and did over 300 miles, one minor hiccup on the way home when the dodgy fuel gauge played its part again but this time I had some fuel with me so 5 minutes on the roadside and we were back on our way again.
Thanks to Matt & Lisa for sorting the campside and the pub, great weekend and roll on the next EB camping which for me is likely to be Big Bang.
