I have set of 4 earlybay 14" wide five rims. But I noticed that one of them has different profile. Right one in the pictures.
That rim also have "tubeless groove" in outside edge. Offsets are same in every rim.

What is that odd rim? Different rim manufacturer?

I need a pair for that because I would like to put a pair in front axle. That tubeless groove should be helpfull.

VW made many 14/15/16" wide five rims for their various models all with different characteristics. When I was searching for some 15 inch splitty wide five rims for my bus, I found a few but some were splitty and some type 3 rims. If memory serves me correct, the bus rims always came with the valve aligned with a lug nut.

Sorry I can't be of more help, but there's tons of info to sift through in this link.

What are the manufacturer's stamps in each rim?

Thanks. that was helpful.

My three similar rims has round VW logo like front emblem and are dated 7/71 = earlybay.
The odd one is marked KPZ (kronprinz) and was dated 3/66. So it must be split bus rim.

Now I know what I am looking after.
