I'm contemplating this now as I'm starting to piece the engine back together in my head. How have you guys got around it.. I was thinking maybe spacers behind the three bolts or is there a particular cover you can get that's made for this 68-71 issue?

Pictures would be nice with links to the products if you can manage it guys please. :D

on grahams had to cut section out of bar and weld a bit back in .very big pump though.

I run a 30 mm pump with a Berg cover...
I just had to put a 45 degrees fitting on the cover outlet and made three 13 mm spacers between my case and the engine bar.
After that you just have to enlarge the two oblong holes on the bus body where you bolt on the two rear silent blocks because your bar is now a little further than before.

Dave - I've only a 26mm pump so I'm hoping not to have to grind or weld anything! Fingers crossed the spacers and 45 degree brass fitting will do the trick. Anyone done anything else?
