I have now installed my heater under the R&R, it fits perfectly (luckily just misses the R&R brace by about 1mm!), tomorrow I'll install the fuel tank behind the passenger seat and route the fuel line. Any advice as to how to do this? I'm guessing it's through a hole to under the bus then attach to diesel intake on heater, which is under the bus. 20241117_165030.jpg

That’s exactly my plan too , except I’m gonna try and get mine under the passenger seat. Does seem a little crazy that I’m having the tank behind the passenger seat and the heater under it too then have the diesel pipe go through the floor and back up again. But if that joint leaks, it’ll leak outside I guess. I might end up doing what you is doing and Chuck it under the bed because I’m getting a bit pi55y with it now.

Ozziedog,,,,,,,,,,,hopefully never use it :)

Hiya, don't use the filter you get with the kit, they fall apart easily, the green ,soft fuel line isn't brilliant either, get the hard, white nylon type, far superior and doesn't 'pulse'. I would use better quality rubber hose for the joints too.

Mines pump inside and i don’t really get much noise. I also used the hard fuel line at the one supplied is like a washer fluid pipe.

Cheers Gaz, I've found a fairly decent how-to vid that says much the same.

I actually think the kit I got includes the harder white fuel line, I may get a better fuel filter tho. The vid also give several tips on making it operate as quietly as possible.
Mine came with the white nylon tube, filter was a joke, got a decent one from my local spares shop. Up and running, imo, there a brilliant addition to your van .Is yours a genuine 2kw (60 mm dia outlet hose). Like many others i got a 5kw labelled as a 2kw, ( 75mm dia outlet hose).
