Selling my turbo engine which was going in my split.
Will fit split bay or bug by altering turbo exhaust
willing to swap for typ4 porsche fan motor or larger type 1 carb engine want my split running again
heres the spec..
Engine
1679 AH code twin port case.
It has had the following
New bearings throughout ,original grind,stock crank.
Full flowed case
All case plugs tapped and plugged
New barrels and FORGED pistons
CB Performance balanced,shot peened rods
Lightened (12lb) flywheel
kennedy 2100lb clutch
Heads well ported,polished and c.c'ed - sealing faces skimmed and matched deck heights.
Stainless steel valves
Hardened retainers
High rev springs
1.25:1 Ratio rockers
Alluminium bolt up rocker covers - vented
Fitted with semi auto pump for oil return
Heat exchangers retained for vehicle heating but fitted with flange/butterfly clamps.
Complete full flow system -
External filter head
Oil thermostat
External aluminium Oil cooler plus fitting and pipes
All hoses needed in ptfe lined steel overbraid with aeroquip ends.
TURBO:
Reconditioned R5 carb
All pressure tubing in stainless steel
Flex connections in Samco Silicone
Malpassi fuel pressure reg
Sytec electric fuel pump
All fuel lines/return line to tank.
Large K@N Intake filter
Adjustable bleed off valve
Forge racing twin diaphram Dump valve.
Air to air intercooler from mazda 5
Oxy sensor in exhaust for fine tuning
Complete exhaust system in stainless steel - all T.i.g welded.
GT15 roller bearing turbo - boosts to 1.5bar(20psi) on current setup.
009 dizzy with adjustable rev limiter
Dash gauges - boost and afr.
Just run in ready for dyno and a lot of fun
Less than 2,000 miles since build has potential to be a real mean stomper of an engine
Hasnt been rolling road tuned although has been developed to perform to it fullest potential till such a time it could rolling road tuned after it was run in.Would be good on the run what you brung days for a bit of fun it pulls like no other aircooled engine ive driven lots of fun.Can put new owner in touch with the guy who built it too.
