I have bought new front seat belts from JK. I have holes on the cab floor to the right of each seat. Above each seat and to the left of each seat. So holes are in the right places. The seat belt says it must be upright to operate so how the bloody hell do you fit them PLEASE.

On the plus side had a great day tinkering with the engine on the bench today so onwards and upwards.

They usually come with various fittings, mine used a L shaped bracket that was supplied!

The cassette part that is, bolts to the floor next to the seat ;)

I get that it bolts next to the seat but it is then facing the wrong way (towards the seat) where as it needs to face the roof? Anyone with a photo.

I did the exact same as simo. All fits neat and tidy and works well.

Edit - pictures added.

Related question, does anyone know if there are issues fitting the cassette at the top? That's currently the way mine sit and (although ugly) work fine- From memory the belt wasn't long enough for the cassette to sit at the bottom.

I have my belts facing "forwards" as opposed to facing the doors.
Is there any reason I should change it?

Update. Bay Low cheers for the offer of seatbelt brackets but I'm being an idiot as I have now found them in the box. The delay in answering is down to the fact that I live in Swansea the bus is in Bridgend and I work in Cardiff. As normal everyone has been more than helpful on here. Cheers all

No worries butt, just down the coast of Costa Del Wales then?? You had what my missus would call a man look .. Glad it's sorted bud. Ben
