Is yours a little all over the place too?

When I'm sitting idling, the needle vibrates, going round corners I expect it to move about I suppose, if I have the ignition off and put the hazards on the gauge will go from off the end to E with the hazards

Is this pretty normal? Not something that happens on my Alfa mito haha!

No it shouldn't be jumping around like that.

Sounds like a short or bad earth - try behind the instrument binnacle first as sometimes the wires can short behind there.

:)

Ummm... That's not good is it

I did sack the little fibre glass connectors off as they kept slopping down and touching the instrument panel and blowing fuses... So I took them off, crimped small spades onto the end of the wires and connected them directly to the small wires that come off the back of the gauge. I covered them in heat wrap but do you think I need to pad them out more?
