Gearstick Reverse lock

Hi all, I noticed this weekend that I can now slip into reverse when looking for 2nd gear and the lock out is no longer stopping this happening. I can find all gears absolutely fine and I did adjust the gear plate (at the bottom of the gear stick) last week and I'm sure it was fine before....any advise?

I had the same problem when I got my CSP shifter. I tried adjusting it myself but took it to a VW specialist in the end who sorted it out. It simply needed adjusting correctly. Maybe if I had persevered I would have done it myself. Unfortunately Paul is no longer in business so I will have to sort more stuff myself now !

What shifter do you have?

Ok. Fixed this earlier, stripped it down and degreased everything, bolted it back together and all good
