I might be interested, do you have an idea of the shipping cost and delivery time?

I had been in touch with Al myself about getting one of these shipped to my brother in Brooklyn, to collect in the summer when I'm over there and bring back in my suitcase.

These shifters are a work of art and was the best purchase for my bus. Yeah its plenty of money but how often do you change gear? For that alone it is worth it, the shift is much more precise, the locker gives you the benefit of peace of mind and you'll enjoy polishing it up to a hi-sheene, or maybe thats just me :mrgreen:

Personally I'd stick with the Black handle, the polished version just doesn't look right in my opinion.

This is still on just need two more. I know its after christmas and things are tight. Al at Berg is keen to do us a deal, top chap. There will be more runs im told, and the quality of casting of the locking base (which was the reason for the shortages) has all been sorted.

just wanted to mention that normally you would be looking at $580 + duty and tax (so add around another £80) so your looking at around £450 all in. Thats a substantial saving at £350, and hopefully we will get it a bit cheaper still.

Hi all

I don't seem to have been getting update so didn't realise that there had been any developments on this.

Sorry this is not necessarily going to be that helpful. I am still interested but I need to see what dosh I have when I get my engine sorted. I've got issues with the carbs which should be done under the warranty, but I need to have a bit of a reserve just in case.

If you get enough interest then don't wait for me.

Incidentally I'm assuming that the shifters will be delivered to one address. How will they get distributed?
