Golf mk 2 GTI wanted

As it says, after a winter hack. 3 door big bumper please, don't care about colour or weather it's an 8 or 16v and it doesn't need to be mint, just something usable.

Mk3s are almost free these days & ideal as a winter hack & plenty fast enough!!!
Much cheaper = more £££ on the bus ?

Good for way over the speed limit( allegedly)
Had it about 6 months, it's had a clutch, a service & a puncture repaired in that time, about £200 unfortunately , but still cheaper than a Mk2!

Not quite as retro though! :|

That is true but I really want a mk2. Bus is more or less done so I have a fairly good budget.
